jdns-dbg software package provides command-line tool to test functionality - debugging symbols, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jdns-dbg
jdns-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jdns-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jdns-dbg *
You will get with jdns-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
